Data Entry Clerk

Job Summary: 

Our client in Houston, TX is looking for qualified applicants that are eager to start a career in the Glass/Aluminum industry for a Data Entry Clerk in our Customer Service department.

Data Entry Clerk Requirements:

  • Enters Customer Orders accurately
  • Verifies accuracy of orders
  • Follows up on related data entry issues
  • Enters customer orders that are received via email or fax 
  • Collects, sorts and reviews accuracy of order before entered into system
  • Handles verification of orders and reenters if needed if any mistakes occur
  • Responsible for filing
  • Operates various office equipment as needed
  • Performs essential clerical functions and other duties as assigned

Minimum Skills and requirements:

  • Experience in: Microsoft Office AX Dynamics 2009 experience is a plus
  • Able to take instructions from Supervisor/Manager
  • Above average alphanumeric and data entry and 10-key
  • Able to work in fast-pace environment
  • Capable of accepting new challenges and tasks as needed
  • High School or equivalent
  • Must have 5+ years of Customer Service/Data entry experience (excludes Call Center)

Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required
