Part time AP Clerk/ Bookeeper

Part-time contract to hire bookkeeping opportunity available in the Alexandria area. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years' of experience in a bookkeeping role for a small company. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • 1+ years' experience in bookkeeping
  • Previous experience in QuickBooks would be preferred 
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills 

 

Qualifications:

  • Maintain financial records, working closely with the accounting and operations manager to ensure that financial transactions are handled properly 
  • Billing (membership, special projects) 
  • Processing of cash receipts 
  • Collections 
  • Reviewing expense reports and processing 
  • Enter invoices and prepare payments 
  • Annual 1099 preparation 
  • Reporting
