Business Development Analyst

The position will gain exposure to complex tasks within the company and will require flexibility and problem-solving. 


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and initiatives
  • Create and prioritize target customer lists within defined territories
  • Engage in strategic planning with other team members on client matters
  • Conduct and formulate comprehensive market research
  • Communicate clearly with customers and internal groups, providing clear details, critical timeframes, and scope of expectations
  • Support and provide detailed project tracking for customer acquisition and expansion
  • Develop growth strategies and support senior executives on specific strategic initiatives
  • Synthesize complex strategic problems into clear, actionable analysis
  • Support strategic relationships and communication with key partners and contacts
  • Work with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams to implement BD initiatives
  • Organization and documentation of client data and reporting
  • Accompany senior team members when vetting customers
  • Travel is primarily local during the business week, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected



  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel
  • Self-starting approach to project planning and execution
  • Demonstrated strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills -- quantitative and qualitative -- and the ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
  • Experience with project prioritization and adherence to timelines
  • 1-3 years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm or similar a plus
  • Confidence with networking and outward-facing dialogue; strong oral and written communication skills
