ADDISON GROUP HAS A CONTRACT OPENING FOR A SUPPORT SPECIALIST WITH THEIR IT HELP DESK.

This role will be working with users in person and over the phone to resolve issues with various hardware devices, and software packages.

This role is slated to be at least 6 months in contract length with extensions possible.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Respond to requests for support VIA phone, and tickets through the system
  • Provide superior customer service to end users
  • Knows when to escalate issues
  • Performs hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
  • Performs preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals. Performs post-resolution follow-ups to help requests. Develops help sheets and frequently asked questions lists for end users.
  • Typically requires up to 3 years of experience in IT support
