One of our clients in the Washington DC Metro Area is currently recruiting Consultants to help expanding the team with knowledge in Banking and Capital Markets clients. We are actively recruiting team members to deliver on challenging, fast-paced engagements.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Scope remediation and cost rationalization
  • Current state analysis and gap assessments
  • Process discovery and mapping
  • Business process evaluation and reengineering
  • Target state requirements definition
  • Controls analysis and business continuity planning
  • Regulatory compliance assessments and advisory services
  • Assist clients with a wide range projects to streamline operations, optimize business processes, improve regulatory compliance, enhance controls and mitigate risk
  • Help define and document project scope in line with client priorities for transformation
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to define and document optimal future state processes and requirements
  • Manage day-to-day project delivery tasks across the entire engagement lifecycle as part of a larger delivery team
  • Apply strong analytical skills to solve challenging problems while developing deep capital markets subject matter expertise
  • Assist with the preparation of client deliverables and meet all internal and client deadlines
  • Support training and change management with all client teams, including developing and presenting training materials on new target state procedures
  • Work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Contribute to internal initiatives including, but not limited to recruiting, internal operations, business development and thought leadership and whitepaper preparation

 

Qualifications:

  • Four- year degree from a well-known university in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or another strong technical and analytical discipline. A graduate degree is strongly preferred
  • 2-4 years of consulting experience with a top-tier strategic consulting firm
  • Strong financial services background, with experience in business process reengineering and/or financial systems implementations preferred
  • Subject matter expertise in at least one area (experience with mortgage backed securities and securitization processes preferred)
  • Experience working as part of a project team through all phases of the project lifecycle: scope definition, planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation
  • Experience working directly with clients and managing small teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High energy, drive, and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • High degree of integrity
  • Demonstrated humility on prior engagements
  • Extroverted personality with strong confidence, social skills, and a great sense of humor
