Purchasing Coordinator

Our client, based in the Vienna, VA area, is seeking a purchasing coordinator for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a business related field, and 2+ years' of related experience, either in accounts payable or purchase orders. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Day to day review and follow up on requisitions sent via PO system 
  • Assist with exception processing and resolution of any issues 
  • Processing agreements and setting up PO's in the system
  • Lead meetings/conference calls 
  • Special projects 

 

Qualifications:

  • BS or BA (preferably in Business Administration) 
  • Previous experience in purchasing is a plus 
  • 2+ years' related work experience required 
  • Intermediate Excel skills
