Are you a recent Finance grad looking for a Jr. Financial Analyst position with a company that will value your creativity and analytical mind? We are actively seeking a Jr. Financial Analyst with a passion for learning and overcoming challenges to join one our clients teams.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly summaries of all bid and proposal activities; document and report on new business opportunities, new business awards and lost business
  • Work collaboratively with members of sales and accounting teams
  • Track, analyze, and trend pricing data for opportunities, awards, rebids, renewals and losses
  • Research and obtain an understanding of relevant mortgage servicing regulations
  • Review and analyze mortgage loan files including correspondence and affidavits to gain an understanding of circumstances surrounding each foreclosure
  • Perform audit test procedures to determine the bank’s compliance with mortgage servicing laws
  • Recalculate debt amounts claimed by banks to verify accuracy
  • Document analysis, test results, conclusions, and requests for additional information
  • Identify and report unfair and unlawful banking practices to help protect borrowers from financial harm
  • Perform statistical analysis on samples and interpret results
  • Contribute to the development of computer models including detailed, and potentially, complex spreadsheet and database analysis

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year accredited institution in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in a corporate FP&A, accounting, financial statement analysis, or financial modeling role
  • Ability to focus and prioritize operational tasks in a high growth environment
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and have experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Strong financial statement analysis skills with a firm grasp of accounting and finance matters
  • Attention to detail with the ability to think critically and independently
  • Exceptional attitude and commitment to teamwork
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
