Sr. Benefits Analyst

Location: Austin, Texas

Position Requirements:

  • Manages all daily employee benefits programs (private and state)
  • Analyze benefits options and future costs to support business objectives
  • Ability to communicate existing benefits with staff members
  • Heavy collaboration with Human Resources department to develop strategy and training materials to ensure programs are understood and valued by staff members
  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Consistent research of benefits programs and compile related statistics as requested by Executive Team
  • Informing new and existing employees of benefit offers and usage through distribution of benefits reports
  • Updated knowledge of legislation and laws affecting benefits programs
  • Innovative input and application of benefits and updates/enhancements needed
  • Assure compliance with provisions and other regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate on maintenance of benefits information to HRIS system and personnel records
  • Employee Performance Evaluation involvement
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Additional duties as requested and assigned

Position Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience with complex benefits program knowledge
  • Bachelors’ Degree required
  • PHR Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding benefits programs
  • Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and proficient with spreadsheets, databases, and HRIS management tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
