Recruiting Assistant

A prestigious HireStrategy client located in the Northern Virginia area is currently seeking a recruiting assistant. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, personable, self-starting individual who is ready to utilize his or degree in a professional services environment. 



  • Support Talent Acquisition team in all scheduling, coordination, and administrative functions 
  • Manage complex calendars (specifically as it applies to scheduling interviews)
  • Interview candidates over the phone and in-person to determine skill set and career goals 
  • Source candidates for diverse positions 
  • Conduct research and develop innovative strategies to recruit top talent
  • Perform reference and background checks



  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of recruiting experience during school or through internships
  • Experience in managing recruiting coordination tasks
  • Experience working within HR, Talent Acquisition or Recruiting team
  • Must possess high attention to detail and excellent organization skills 
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
