POS Support Administrator / Configuration Specialist


As an POS Configuration Specialist you will be expected to input specific item configuration prior to deployment based on the project deployment plan and the guidance of the Configuration Supervisor. This could include up to 8 sites in different phases of build during any given week until deployment to all properties have been complete. Post deployment, the team of Configuration Specialists will be assigned approximately 60 sites as their primary focus for ongoing support. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Communicate effectively
  • Provide configuration and support during point of sale migration 
  • Post deployment support an assigned group for ongoing support and item configuration

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good organizational skills; able to assemble and present information clearly
  • Balance multiple priorities successfully
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • 4 or more years of exposure to point of sale systems and menu-driven software experience
  • Demonstrate ability to be both a team player and an independent hard worker
  • Travel will be necessary at times for periods of approximately 2 to 4 days at a time
  • Experience working in a hospitality environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Micros point of sale systems and hardware system configurations
