Job Responsibilities

  • Project Manager is responsible for management of project life cycle from initiation through deployment and project closure
  • Manages the day-to-day activities of projects and project staff
  • HP Project and Portfolio Management Tool
  • Third Party Administration program or claims processing systems experience
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, MIS, or technology or related field
  • Minimum 5-10 years of project management or IT Management to include coordinating and/supporting IT business processes, scheduling, and budgeting experience.
  • Manages multiple projects at one time
  • Creates, manages and tracks project documents, including, but not limited to: project schedules, including estimates versus actuals, detailed project plans, scope documents, cost estimates, resource plans, risk and issues logs, and status reports
  • Works with project managers of other teams to ensure overall business needs are being met for company initiatives
  • Project Manager is a key participant in steering committee meetings, and technical, as well as business dialogue
  • Project Manager communicates and collaborates with internal and external customers as needed in regards to project deliverables including managing expectations, presenting and interfacing with stakeholders
  • Project Manager drives decisions, including difficult tradeoffs that may be needed between resources, schedule, and functionality
  • Project Manager creates and maintains relationships across the organization
  • Project Manager demonstrates leadership qualities including flexibility and adaptability to changes in roles and responsibility as required
