The successful candidate will come from a competitive background and have full P&L responsibility for the practice, including hiring and training, and will be charged with building the perm search business in the greater Dallas area.  This position revolves around developing and nurturing client and candidate relationships in the marketplace in order to uncover open jobs, and placing IT professionals in those roles. Our ultimate goal is to build relationships and place the best qualified candidates with industry leading companies in the market.

Key characteristics of the successful candidate include a sales driver with an entrepreneurial mindset, someone who thrives in a successful, results-oriented environment, and who leads by example.  This leader needs to possess a college degree and a proven ability to build professional relationships effectively with staff level professionals to C-Suite executives. The individual must also exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills, function well with minimal supervision, have the ability to pick up new concepts quickly, and have a successful track record of professional B2B sales.

Skills needed include:

  • Ability to develop targeted call lists – for yourself and team members
  • Ability to schedule meetings with prospects who are not familiar with Addison Group or our services
  • Ability to build urgency in the office and with team members
  • Ability to build accountability through production and leading by example
  • Ability to build and nurture a culture of “can-do” attitude, high urgency, excellent attitude, and excitement
  • Ability to “connect dots” within companies, projects they are working on or initiatives companies have, and how that could benefit Addison Group and/or how our client could benefit from our services
  • Ability to multi-task regularly
    • Prospecting calls for clients
    • Taking Job Orders for clients
    • Interviews, submittals, send outs
    • Interviewing for internal employees
    • Handling maintenance issues with consultants and clients
    • Handling billing issues
    • Coaching and mentoring team
  • Ability to understand and utilize Addison Group resources and how to communicate with them to get what is needed for the office
