Director of Business Development in the DC Area – Competitive base plus uncapped commissions

This prestigious and growing global firm is looking for sales talent with 4 years consultative B2B experience selling a service to senior executives. This person will generate new clients through business to business prospecting, networking, referrals and maximizing existing relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand the value of the service and educate clients across disciplines    
  • Execute the business development strategy and manage business relationships
  • Consult and identify challenges and issues of clients to identify the best business solution
  • Present in person and by phone
  • Carry a monthly revenue goal
  • Mentor junior associates

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • 4-6 years of consultative B2B experience
  • Proven track record of building successful partnerships and business relationships  
  • Possess a strategic perspective, but be able to roll up your sleeves and get tactical tasks accomplished
  • Salesforce preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
