Staffing Services Firm Outgrows Previous Office, Makes Way for Additional Hires and New Healthcare Practice

Addison Group, a leading provider of professional staffing services, today announced that it has relocated its Boston operations to a larger facility as a result of the addition of a new Healthcare practice, as well as continued business growth in the current Finance & Accounting and Information Technology practices. The move further increases Addison Group’s presence in the Boston financial and high tech staffing market while expanding its reach across the U.S. as one of 10 offices serving a major metropolitan area.

According to the New England Economic Partnership, Massachusetts’ economy is expected to add about 50,000 jobs in 2014 and more than 70,000 in 2015. Ongoing business growth and job generation is creating an increased need for skilled talent across several industries within the state, including high tech and manufacturing. To help address increased demand for talented candidates, many local businesses are turning to hiring and staffing services firms like Addison Group.

“Massachusetts and the Boston market in particular are thriving. With quickly growing technology startups like TripAdvisor, Wayfair, HubSpot and Rue La La as well as established companies like EMC and Razorfish, its clear why Boston is a lucrative market for our high-tech staffing services business,” said Thomas Moran, CEO of Addison Group. “Boston’s financial market is also ripe for growth this year, which will increase demand for skilled finance and accounting talent. Addison Group is ideally positioned to help address these growing supply and demand gaps for experienced hires.”

“With the ever growing healthcare industry, Addison’s new practice will be primed to meet the demanding needs of changing laws and requirements for the market,” said Kelly Gorham, President of Addison Group’s Healthcare division. “We are excited to enter this space at an optimal time, and with our extensive industry experience I expect great success in the future.”

Addison Group’s new space nearly doubles the previous office size, giving the company room to expand as the company continues to grow. From 2012 to 2013, Addison Group doubled its placements in finance contract jobs in Boston and projects similar growth in 2014. To help address ongoing business demand and staff a new healthcare practice slated to launch this summer, Addison Group plans to hire eight to ten employees in 2014. The centrally located financial district office boasts easy access to South Station, which benefits both job-seekers and employers partnering with Addison Group.

Addison Group is continuing to grow its business across the nation. Aside from this move within Boston, the company recently added a Human Resources practice to the Administrative group and acquired a strategic staffing firm, HireStrategy, to expand its footprint into the Washington D.C. metro region.
