Job Summary

The Collector/Cashier receipts money in the form of cash/check/card for amounts due. The work involves extensive customer contact with frequent interruptions. The incumbent is responsible for accurately recording transactions in a timely manner, reconciling receipts and preparing deposits daily, and assisting the public with a variety of service requests and transactions.

The ideal candidate must maintain a high level of accuracy, provide excellent customer service, work well as part of a team, follow procedures, and be detail oriented.

What are the minimum qualifications?

High School Diploma or GED, and six months of cashiering/collecting experience, preferably in face-to-face public contact, including the receipt and handling of cash, or any combination of experience and training that demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and abilities as listed.
