Customer Service/ Order Management

Our client, located in the downtown loop, is seeking individuals for a Customer Service/Order Management role.  This is a long term contract opportunity with the potential for full time hire based on long term company needs.  A great role for candidates to gain experience in a terrific corporate environment and culture. 

The ideal candidate for this role would have experience working in a logistics department for a corporation, or for a logistics company.  Strong Excel skills are a must for this role, as well as experience working with SAP or another ERP system.  

Candidates who have worked for a manufacturing company, or for a trucking firm would have an understanding of the supply chain process that is needed for this role. 

The person in this role will be working with internal customers as well as speaking directly with customers and also carriers to manage orders and resolve any issues.  In addition, this person is responsible for data analysis - preparing reports, drawing conclusions and offering recommendations.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have 1-3 years of experience 
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • SAP preferred
