   End User Systems Engineer


The Global End User Systems Engineer will provide 3rd level technical support for the Firm’s computers.  The Engineer will troubleshoot issues through problem isolation and verification; being thorough and resourceful in finding a solution and escalating to vendors appropriately.  In addition, they will administer and support the Global End User Systems portfolio which includes Microsoft Windows 7/10, Lenovo hardware, mobile devices, SCCM, end point security, Citrix and ShareFile.  The Engineer will actively participate in evaluating new technologies, updating current technologies, migrations and the overall rollout processes. 


  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues and escalate them to the appropriate internal or external service provider
  • Perform day-to-day support and maintenance of Windows, SCCM, mobile devices, end point security, Citrix and ShareFile ensuring effective service delivery and adherence to installation standards, procedures and best practices, including those established by the world-wide IT department


  • Monitor the security of Firm’s computers against viruses and security breaches and  research current threats.
  • Assist with development of procedures, policies and standards for the Firm’s computers and applications, including maintenance and disaster recovery
  • Work well with the rest of the team to provide 3rd IT level assistance for Windows OS, mobile devices and software issues, SCCM, Images, End User security, mobile devices, patching and the overall End User Systems portfolio
  • Document operating procedures regarding all software, and configurations
  • Liaise with IT departments and vendors to support various requests
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the hardware and software configuration, the application portfolio, procedures and practices
  • Ensure top quality IT services are attainable with available resources
  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate them to the appropriate internal or external service provider
  • Continuously contribute to the knowledge base of the IT team by updating them with new issues raised and new resolutions or interim workarounds found


  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of related experience including responsibility managing and implementing SCCM, Windows OS, virtual machines, end point security
  • Previous experience with mobile device management
  • Ability to package applications for wide scale deployment using InstallShield and Xen App
  • Expertise in virtual environments, Microsoft operating systems and applications
  • In depth knowledge of large scale rollouts in an environment of 3000+ users
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Experience working with employees at all levels including senior management
