Location: Manassas, VA (Onsite)
Assignment type: Permanent Hire
Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 / Annually
Work Schedule: M-F 9-5

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Prepare and review financial statements, supporting schedules, and internal reporting packages
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Supervise and support accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environment
- Assist with audits, compliance activities, and external reporting requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures, workflows, and internal controls
- Partner with leadership to provide financial analysis and operational reporting support
- Support ERP/accounting system processes and ensure reporting accuracy
- Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required
- Prior Accounting Manager or senior-level accounting leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
- Experience with financial reporting and month-end close processes
- ERP/accounting systems experience required
- Strong Excel skills including reconciliations, reporting, and financial analysis
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Reliable, self-sufficient, and detail-oriented work style
- Ability to work onsite in Manassas, VA
