Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support financial master data creation, maintenance, testing, and governance activities while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across enterprise systems. This role will partner with multiple business functions to support master data processes, data quality initiatives, system testing, and continuous process improvement in a dynamic, service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and update financial master data within enterprise systems
- Support master data activities within test environments to facilitate system enhancements, projects, and user acceptance testing
- Perform periodic data reviews, audits, and cleansing activities to improve and maintain data quality and integrity
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve incidents and service requests through a support queue in accordance with service level expectations
- Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to support ongoing operational needs and changing business requirements
- Participate in project testing activities, including validating data configurations and business process functionality
- Demonstrate flexibility in managing changing priorities and business demands
- Participate in AI learning initiatives and apply AI capabilities responsibly to drive continuous improvement and business value
- Perform additional duties and special projects as needed
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Minimum of one year of professional work experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, PivotCharts, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, data validation, formulas, reporting, and analysis of large datasets
- Experience working with enterprise systems, data management processes, or business operations; SAP S/4HANA experience is preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business process evaluation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across business functions
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy, integrity, and process compliance
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn and responsibly apply emerging technologies, including AI, to improve business processes and operational outcomes
