Position Overview:
A growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist to support provider credentialing and enrollment activities. This role focuses on maintaining accurate provider records, ensuring compliance with payer requirements, and supporting credentialing processes for dental and surgical providers.
This is a fully onsite position working closely with internal teams to ensure providers remain credentialed and active with payers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage credentialing and enrollment processes for healthcare providers
- Complete CAQH attestations and maintain payer enrollment status
- Perform roster verifications to ensure providers remain active with insurance networks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing records and documentation
- Monitor expiring licenses and certifications and initiate renewals proactively
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to gather required provider information
- Communicate with providers to resolve discrepancies or missing documentation
- Ensure compliance with credentialing standards and payer requirements
- Support additional credentialing and administrative projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of recent credentialing or provider enrollment experience (3–5 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of CAQH, payer enrollment processes, and credentialing workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Adobe)
- Experience working with credentialing systems and databases
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work both independently and within a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in dental or surgical credentialing
- Exposure to project-based credentialing work or process improvement initiatives
Work Environment:
- Fully onsite role (Monday–Friday)
- Professional healthcare office setting
- Collaborative team environment with cross-functional support
