Job Description:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support high-priority logistics operations. This role is heavily focused on shipment coordination, tracking, and communication across internal teams and drivers. The position supports critical, high-value shipments and requires strong attention to detail, urgency, and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor shipments from pickup through final delivery
- Provide frequent status updates and ensure accurate tracking of high-value loads
- Communicate directly with drivers, internal teams, and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Manage multiple email inboxes and respond promptly to inquiries
- Utilize transportation management systems to trace shipments and update records
- Prepare shipping documentation including bills of lading and proof of delivery
- Maintain hourly tracking updates for sensitive or high-risk shipments
- Identify and resolve service issues while escalating complex situations when needed
- Partner with internal teams to improve processes and service delivery
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience within freight brokerage or 3PL environments
- Background in dispatch, operations, or logistics coordination preferred
- Experience communicating with drivers is required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook
