About Our Client:
Addison Group is recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable law firm specializing in insurance defense and litigation. They are seeking a paralegal to join their litigation team and provide key support in managing complex cases.
Job Description:
This position will play a critical role in supporting attorneys with case preparation, trial support, and legal research. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have strong multitasking skills to handle various responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews and prepare detailed summaries for attorneys
- Organize, review, and summarize legal documents and medical records
- Perform legal research and assist with case preparation
- Draft legal documents, including discovery responses and motions
- Coordinate meetings and communicate with legal professionals, experts, and court staff
- Support attorneys in trial preparation by organizing exhibits and witness coordination
- Assist with calendaring and schedule management
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of paralegal experience specifically in insurance defense
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Experience with legal research databases and court filing systems
- Familiarity with civil litigation procedures
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
