- SAP Oversight: Serve as the organization’s internal advocate and accountability manager for SAP implementation and vendor performance.
- Service Desk Management: Oversee and integrate service desk operations.
- Change Management: Implement and maintain robust change management practices.
- Enterprise Infrastructure Oversight: Guide the overall infrastructure strategy and performance.
The Director will be focused on the daily operations of the technology ecosystem. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of enterprise systems, supporting operational objectives and service levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT operations management, SAP ERP, Azure public cloud.., service delivery, vendor management and process optimization, with a focus on high availability, scalability, and performance. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, with broad experience in managing technical operations in a multi-cloud, multi-vendor Managed Application Service (AMS) context.
Responsibilities
- Execute the enterprise operations “Run” strategy which is focused on scalability, uptime, and performance.
- Responsible for incident management efforts across the enterprise, ensuring timely resolution of critical incidents.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to develop IT operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Accountable for the technical operations of critical, multi-cloud applications which leverage outside partners.
- Identify and implement emerging technologies and operational best practices to optimize infrastructure performance.
- Manage daily operations with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality, and SLA are being met.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Implement and maintain ITIL-based best practices, including incident, problem and change management
- Proactively address potential IT issues before they impact business operations.
- Monitor and report on operational technology performance and efficiency to leadership.
- Lead or participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
