Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team in Oklahoma City. This role will provide frontline technical support to end users, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and ensure a high level of service across the organization. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a solid technical foundation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking, and common business applications
- Manage and respond to support tickets in a timely manner, ensuring SLA compliance
- Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access management
- Document issues, resolutions, and processes within the ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary
- Support basic networking tasks including connectivity troubleshooting and VPN support
- Participate in system upgrades, deployments, and IT projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on IT support or help desk experience
- Active certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+
- Strong understanding of Windows environments
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Active Directory and user administration
- Exposure to endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, etc.)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices
