Job Description:
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a Claims Analyst to work in a fast-paced environment. The role involves handling claims processing, collections, and managing appeals and denials. The position starts on-site for the first 30 days with the potential to transition to fully remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit insurance claims and perform billing in the mornings.
- Manage collections and follow-ups in the afternoons.
- Handle appeals and denials (non-clinical) and work with UB-04 claim forms.
- Manage a caseload of 30–40 accounts daily.
- Use payor portals like Availity, Meditech, and Waystar to resolve claim issues.
Qualifications:
- At least 2+ years of collections experience (behavioral health or outpatient collections preferred).
- Proficiency in appeals, denials, and working with payor portals.
- Facility-side billing experience (UB-04 claims) highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team-player attitude.
Additional Details:
- Schedule: Flexible start time (7:30 AM or later), 8-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Interview Process: Virtual interviews with quick turnaround.
- Work Environment: On-site for the first 30 days; fully remote after training.
