Job Responsibilities:
- Set up, calibrate, and operate immersion ultrasonic testing (UT) equipment
- Perform inspections on aerospace components in accordance with specifications and procedures
- Interpret ultrasonic data to identify defects and determine part acceptability
- Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards (NAS 410 or equivalent) and customer requirements
- Communicate findings and non-conformances with internal teams
- Support continuous improvement and maintain a clean, safe work environment
Requirements:
- Current or recent Level II Ultrasonic Testing (UT) certification
- Hands-on experience with immersion UT systems preferred
- Strong understanding of ultrasonic testing principles, including sound wave behavior and transducer use
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or highly regulated environments is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
