About the Opportunity:
Addison Group is seeking Live Answer Representatives for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a growing healthcare organization. This role is ideal for candidates with strong customer service skills and experience in high-volume scheduling environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle high-volume inbound calls (6000 – 7000 calls per week across the team)
- Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
- Process prescription refill requests
- Manage specialty queues for appointment and results inquiries
- Assist new patients and coordinate language line for non-English speakers
- Document all interactions in real time
- Collaborate with clinical team for escalated questions
Qualifications:
- Experience with Athena EMR strongly preferred
- Prior scheduling experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of clinical workflows and ability to differentiate specialty vs. primary care appointments
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in multiple systems simultaneously
- Tech-savvy and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
