About Our Client:

Our client is a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to impactful work that makes a difference globally. They are seeking a temporary People & Culture Coordinator to support their HR operations across Talent Acquisition, Business Partner Support, and Organizational Development.


Job Description:

The People & Culture Coordinator will assist the HR team with administrative, logistical, and operational tasks, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with various HR teams and contribute to organizational initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition (40%)
    • Post job openings to internal and external platforms.
    • Coordinate and schedule new employee orientation sessions.
    • Maintain and distribute weekly staff updates.
  • HR Business Partner Support (40%)
    • Manage business process approvals in the HRIS system, ensuring timely follow-ups.
    • Generate monthly reports to track employee statuses, extensions, and terminations.
    • File job descriptions and assist with staffing review documentation.
  • Organizational Development (20%)
    • Organize training logistics, including scheduling, materials, and catering.
    • Support employee engagement initiatives and large-scale HR projects.
    • Maintain training records and process related expenses.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in administrative or HR support roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for contributing to mission-driven work.
