Bilingual Pre-Employment Specialist

Location: Phoenix, Arizona – Fully Onsite

Pay Range: $21 - $24 Hourly

Job Summary:

Our client is one of the largest Latino-owned nonprofits in the US and is actively searching for a passionate and mission-driven employee to join the team!

The Pre-Employment Specialist provides administrative support for various recruiting functions, including pre-employment processes, managing vendor-related tasks, and delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with processing criminal background checks, motor vehicle reports, and drug screenings promptly.
  • Contact relevant departments to collect outstanding employee forms or other required documentation.
  • Complete employment verifications and maintain records of responses.
  • Compose correspondence and create/maintain spreadsheets for accessible information in the human resources department.
  • Develop training materials such as PowerPoints and brochures for conferences or meetings.
  • Enter and update personnel information in the HR software according to established guidelines.
  • Travel to various events and locations to assist teams as assigned.
  • Support departmental projects in collaboration with the HR Operations Manager.

Other Functions:

  • Compile reports from various database systems.
  • Assist with employee orientation, exit interviews, and job listings as needed.
  • Provide backup support for Recruiting Specialist duties as required.
  • Adapt productively to change and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Requirement:

  • 1 year of Administrative or Human Resources experience
  • Must have a professional knowledge of Spanish
  • Must have experience with running pre-screenings through multiple vendors
