About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with our client, a growing healthcare organization, to hire a Revenue Integrity Analyst. This role supports accurate reimbursement by reviewing accounts, validating contract rates, and ensuring revenue is recorded correctly throughout the billing cycle.
Job Description:
The Revenue Integrity Analyst will review patient accounts for accuracy, verify contract terms, identify payment variances, and support appeals for underpayments. This position requires strong analytical skills, comfort working in Excel, and the ability to audit accounts both before and after billing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review assigned accounts to confirm accurate balances and ensure all prior billing steps were completed correctly.
- Compare insurance payments to contracted rates and pursue additional reimbursement when variances occur.
- Complete manual adjustments, overrides, and allowances when system adjudication is incorrect.
- Perform underpayment appeals and follow up until accounts are resolved.
- Collaborate with Managed Care when contract language requires clarification.
- Submit system update requests when rate changes occur.
- Recalculate pricing and reprocess accounts as needed.
- Conduct daily reconciliation, exception report review, and credit balance audits.
- Support month‑end close activities and ensure deadlines are met.
- Review and approve revenue reports and assist with payer master maintenance.
- Audit departmental processes to identify improvements for revenue accuracy.
- Complete revenue reviews for admissions, discharges, and post‑payment variances within required timeframes.
- Develop analytical reports to support revenue review processes.
- Respond to audit requests and escalate issues impacting revenue accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with contracts, fee schedules, per diem rates, or reimbursement structures.
- Familiarity with UB‑04s and collections or follow‑up processes.
- Strong math and analytical skills; comfortable performing calculations.
- Ability to read and interpret EOBs.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with WellSky is a plus.
- Fast learner who adapts well to change.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
