Addison Group is thrilled to be assisting in the search for a skilled Accounting Associate for a client within the manufacturing industry. They are seeking an ideal candidate with comprehensive experience in both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including proficiency in various tasks such as:
Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
- Managing the full invoicing process from receipt to payment, including 3-way matching, coding, and posting invoices to the General Ledger.
- Conducting thorough reviews of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing.
- Executing vendor payments accurately and in accordance with established terms.
Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the complete invoicing cycle, from generation to collection, including accurate recording and tracking of customer invoices.
- Managing customer accounts, following up on outstanding balances, and facilitating timely collections.
- Reconciling customer payments and applying them to appropriate accounts.
- Resolving any AR-related discrepancies promptly and effectively to maintain financial integrity.
