Job Description:

We are seeking a Benefit & Customer Service Coordinator to join a fast-paced, detail-oriented insurance environment. This individual will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients while supporting benefit coordination and administrative processes. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a structured, paperwork-heavy environment, and can effectively manage multiple responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency.

About Our Client:

Locally owned insurance agency serving North and South Carolina. The company specializes in health insurance for individuals and groups, as well as dental, life, disability, and Medicare plans. They are committed to helping clients find tailored insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain customer databases (Agency Bloc and Excel)
  • Send rate quotes for under 65 and over 65 clients
  • Manage high email volume (20+ emails daily)
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and analyze data
  • Provide customer support by answering client questions and requests
  • Assist clients with applications and submit to insurance carriers
  • Follow up daily with carriers on application statuses
  • Manage 50+ applications per month and provide status updates
  • Conduct Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage RX reviews
  • Send timely client communications, including thank-you notes
  • Update group benefit spreadsheets and booklets
  • Create and distribute client newsletters
