About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with a well-established Houston law firm seeking a Bilingual Patient Account Specialist to join its growing team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong customer service, call center, self-pay collections, or auto insurance background who enjoys helping individuals navigate financial responsibilities following an accident.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle approximately 100–130 inbound and outbound calls per day.
- Contact patients following accidents to discuss outstanding hospital bills and potential payment options.
- Gather information regarding insurance coverage, attorney representation, and other available payment resources.
- Explain the purpose of the call and help patients understand the information being requested.
- Research potential third-party payment sources, including auto insurance and workers' compensation.
- Accurately document patient conversations, account information, and follow-up actions.
- Maintain professional and empathetic communication with patients who may be experiencing stressful circumstances.
Requirements:
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Previous customer service, call center, or high-volume phone experience required.
- Self-pay collections, auto insurance, or workers' compensation experience strongly preferred.
- Comfortable handling approximately 100+ calls per day.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to explain sensitive financial information professionally and compassionately.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in a productivity-driven environment.
- Ability to follow established scripts and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
