Job Title: Director Fund Accounting
Location: Hybrid or Remote/East Coast Hours
Pays cash compensation of $180k-$200k + equity
SF based Venture Capital and startup incubator seeks an experienced Director Fund Accounting to oversee the fund accounting function and review the work of the outsourced provider. Our client has 4 funds with close to $1B AUM, and approximately 30 portfolio incubator startups. This role will report to the CFO and will start as a sole contributor, and then scale the team as the firm continues to grow. The CFO sits in Boston, so this role will need to work east coast hours. If physically located on the East Coast, there is the option to work hybrid in Boston or New York.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years fund accounting experience at the Assistant Controller or Director level in private equity or venture capital is required.
- CPA is required.
- Public accounting experience with asset management clients is preferred.
- Prior experience/exposure to valuations is helpful.
