What You'll Do
- Analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, raw materials, overhead and inventory
- Build financial models, forecasts and what-if/scenario analyses
- Support budgeting, rolling forecasts and strategic business decisions
- Analyze profitability, margins, production volumes and product mix
- Perform break-even, cost and payback analyses
- Create and maintain financial reporting tools and dashboards
- Present financial results and insights to management
- Compare operational metrics to financial results to understand business performance
- Identify financial risks related to commodities, supply chain, production and inflation
- Support month-end/year-end close, GL reconciliations and journal entries
- Look for opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting and financial processes
