About Our Client:

Addison Group is working with a respected organization in the Oklahoma City area to hire an HR Coordinator. This role supports the Human Resources team with recruiting efforts, onboarding coordination, HR system updates, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting recruitment and HR operations. This position partners with hiring managers to assist in identifying talent, coordinating hiring activities, maintaining employee records, and supporting payroll and HR administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update candidate information within the applicant tracking system.
  • Assist with recruiting initiatives, including attending career fairs and community hiring events.
  • Create and maintain job postings across online job boards and internal job platforms.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand open roles and hiring requirements.
  • Review applications and conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews.
  • Evaluate applicant qualifications to ensure alignment with position requirements.
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes such as background screenings and drug testing.
  • Enter and maintain employee information within the HRIS system, including new hires, rehires, and internal transfers.
  • Assist with onboarding logistics and support new hire orientation activities.
  • Maintain accurate HR files and employee documentation in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Prepare and distribute internal job postings and recruiting communications.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including document organization and clerical tasks.
  • Support payroll processes by assisting with payroll data entry and distributing paychecks when needed.
  • Update employee payroll-related information such as tax forms, direct deposit details, and address changes.
  • Provide backup support to other HR team members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience conducting candidate interviews or participating in recruiting activities required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Positive attitude with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
