About Our Client
Addison Group is partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization in Austin to hire an HR Generalist. This organization provides critical services to the community and is seeking an HR professional to support day-to-day human resources operations in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
The HR Generalist will support a variety of human resources functions including recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee record management. This role will work closely with HR leadership to ensure processes remain compliant with federal and state regulations while supporting a growing workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews
- Assist with onboarding new hires and maintaining new hire documentation
- Maintain accurate personnel files and HR documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations
- Assist with background checks and onboarding requirements including fingerprinting
- Maintain HR data and records within multiple HR systems
- Support employee relations and HR administrative processes
- Partner with HR leadership to support ongoing HR initiatives and workforce needs
- Ensure accurate tracking of employee information and regulatory documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources in a generalist or HR support role
- SHRM certification preferred
- Experience with recruiting, onboarding, and HR compliance
- Familiarity with HR systems such as ADP, ISolve, ChildPlus, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment regulations
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment

- Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Reports to the HR Manager and Executive Director
