- Contract: $38 – $45 / hour
- Upon Conversion: $80,000–$95,000 annually
- Annual Bonus: Estimated 5–8%

Summary
An established organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting while contributing to continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries.
- Maintain general ledger and subledger records, account reconciliations, and financial analyses.
- Prepare financial reports and reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support audits by providing financial documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain process documentation and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes.
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide accounting guidance and support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive general ledger accounting experience in a corporate environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (IFRS experience is a plus).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with large datasets and complex formulas.
- Experience with ERP systems; Oracle experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support.
