Our client is a growing life sciences organization focused on developing innovative treatments for complex diseases. The Talent Acquisition team supports a range of specialized clinical, scientific, and corporate functions and works closely with leaders across the organization.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter with a strong background in biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical recruiting. This individual will manage full-cycle recruitment for specialized clinical and scientific positions while serving as a trusted recruiting partner to hiring managers and senior leaders.
The ideal candidate is strategic, proactive, and comfortable independently managing complex searches. This role emphasizes thoughtful candidate assessment, strong stakeholder relationships, and quality hiring decisions rather than simply moving requisitions through the process quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, from position intake and sourcing through interviews, offers, and pre-employment activities.
- Handle approximately 15–20 active requisitions, with the ability to manage higher volume during peak periods.
- Partner with senior hiring leaders to understand business needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Recruit for specialized functions such as Clinical Operations, Clinical Development, Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Biostatistics, and related areas.
- Identify, screen, and present qualified candidates while maintaining a high standard for candidate quality.
- Develop talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and market research.
- Provide hiring managers with recruiting insights, candidate feedback, and recommendations.
- Establish realistic expectations around hiring timelines, candidate availability, and market conditions.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain clear documentation throughout the hiring process.
- Assist with offer development and compensation discussions as appropriate.
- Complete or coordinate background checks and other required pre-employment processes.
- Partner with external recruiting vendors and sourcing resources when needed.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with HR partners and hiring teams.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of recruiting experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments.
- Experience recruiting for clinical, scientific, drug development, or related specialized functions.
- Oncology recruiting experience is highly preferred.
- Proven experience recruiting Manager through Director-level professionals.
- Strong full-cycle recruiting background.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple complex requisitions simultaneously.
- Corporate/in-house recruiting experience strongly preferred.
- Agency recruiters may be considered if they can demonstrate strategic hiring-manager partnership and consultative recruiting experience.
- Bachelor's degree required; a degree in a scientific or life sciences field is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Comfortable working with senior executives, scientific leaders, and other high-level stakeholders.

- The successful candidate should be comfortable asking questions, challenging assumptions professionally, and recommending adjustments when appropriate.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills are essential.
- The team values consistency and meaningful tenure in previous positions.
- Candidates with numerous short-term positions may not align with the team's preference for stability.
- No direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Interview process consists of two stages: a virtual interview with the hiring manager followed by an onsite panel interview.
- Contract is expected to last 12 months, with potential for extension and/or future conversion based on business needs.
