Our client is a small, growing organization of approximately 35 employees looking to add an HR Coordinator to their team. Job Description:
Our client is seeking an HR Coordinator to support their growing team with a strong focus on recruiting coordination and candidate experience. This person will conduct initial candidate screens, identify qualified candidates to move forward, coordinate interviews, and maintain communication throughout the hiring process. The ideal candidate will have recruiting experience, a solid foundation in HR, and current knowledge of the Orange County talent market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial phone screens with candidates to assess qualifications, experience, and overall fit
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and various departments
- Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with candidates throughout the interview process
- Provide candidate feedback and updates to hiring managers and internal teams
- Partner directly with the HR Director on recruiting initiatives and hiring needs
- Help ensure a positive and professional candidate experience from initial contact through the interview process
- Maintain accurate candidate information and recruiting documentation
- Assist with additional HR and recruiting projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in recruiting, HR coordination, or a similar HR role
- Approximately 3 years of recruiting experience, specifically conducting phone screens and coordinating interviews
- At least 1 year of HR experience
- Current experience working within the Orange County talent market
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and coordinating with multiple departments
- Confident communicating with both candidates and hiring managers
- Professional, approachable, and candidate-focused
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Open to feedback, coaching, and collaboration
