About Our Client:
Addison Group is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead on behalf of our client, a growing manufacturing company. This role is responsible for overseeing daily logistics operations, inventory accuracy, shipping activities, and team coordination.
Job Description:
The Warehouse Team Lead will support warehouse and logistics functions while helping drive efficiency, accuracy, and communication across departments. This is a hands-on leadership role within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee receiving, labeling, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including domestic and international freight.
- Support inventory management through cycle counts and stock audits.
- Assign and prioritize daily logistics activities.
- Review shipping documentation and freight invoices for accuracy.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the logistics team and management.
- Lead team meetings and provide operational updates.
- Partner with internal teams to support project timelines and material needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and workflow processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience in logistics, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain operations.
- Prior leadership or team coordination experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with inventory control and shipping processes.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
