About Our Client

Addison Group is partnering with our client in the financial services industry to hire a Contract Administrative Clerk. This role supports a busy operations team by assisting with the accurate processing of borrower payments and maintaining detailed records within internal systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Job Description

The Contract Administrative Clerk plays a key role in supporting payment processing and administrative operations. This individual will review and enter payment information received through various channels, verify loan details within internal systems, and ensure transactions are recorded accurately. The role also assists with internal fund transfers and reconciliation activities that support daily business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and process borrower payments received through multiple channels such as mailed checks, electronic payments, and phone transactions.
  • Review loan records and transaction details to ensure funds are applied correctly in the servicing platform.
  • Conduct research within internal systems to resolve discrepancies and confirm payment information.
  • Assist with transferring funds between internal departments and external banking partners as needed.
  • Support bank reconciliation processes and help maintain accurate financial records.
  • Follow internal procedures and compliance guidelines when handling financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily processing targets and operational deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative, clerical, or financial operations experience preferred.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable navigating multiple systems and performing research to verify information.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain compliance standards.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with clear communication skills.
