Job Description
Addison Group is hiring a Contract Customer Service Representative for our client. In this fully remote role, you will support customers by responding to inbound calls related to existing orders, shipment updates, and delivery timelines.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, communicating clearly over the phone, and using internal systems to locate and share order information. The right candidate will be organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable handling a high volume of customer interactions while maintaining a positive and professional approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming customer calls regarding current orders, shipping progress, and delivery updates.
- Use internal platforms to review order details and provide customers with accurate status information.
- Guide customers through shipment tracking, estimated delivery windows, and confirmation of delivered orders.
- Record customer conversations, updates, and resolutions in the company’s customer management system.
- Route complicated questions or unresolved concerns to the appropriate internal departments.
- Deliver consistent, courteous service and maintain a customer-focused approach during each interaction.
- Follow established service procedures, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of prior experience in customer service, support, or a call center environment is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to actively listen to customer concerns.
- Comfortable using multiple computer systems simultaneously while assisting customers by phone.
- Effective problem-solving abilities and strong organizational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing and communicating order information.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
