Location: Boston, MA (Local to Boston Only)

Job Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $70 / Hour

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a Data Conversion Lead to support a large-scale HR systems transformation and Workday HCM implementation. This role will focus on ensuring the successful migration, validation, and integrity of employee and organizational data from legacy platforms into a new enterprise environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead HR data migration and conversion activities throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and technical teams to define data requirements and conversion strategies
  • Analyze legacy data, identify quality issues, and support cleansing efforts
  • Document mapping logic and validate converted data across testing cycles
  • Support mock conversions, cutover planning, and go-live readiness activities
  • Reconcile data discrepancies and ensure compliance with governance and security standards
  • Maintain detailed documentation related to conversion processes and data structures

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in data conversion, HR systems, or enterprise implementations
  • Experience supporting Workday HCM data migration initiatives
  • Strong understanding of HR data including employee records, compensation, benefits, and payroll
  • Experience with Excel, SQL, or related data analysis tools
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate across functional and technical teams

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to Workday integration or conversion tools
  • Experience with enterprise HR transformation projects
  • Familiarity with reporting and analytics platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Understanding of data governance and validation best practices
