About Our Client:

Our client is a professional organization seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to support HR functions across multiple organizational levels. This role plays a key part in employee relations, policy interpretation, and HR program administration while partnering with internal teams and external vendors.

Job Description:

This professional-level position is responsible for providing assistance and support to all organizational levels and external partners in the interpretation and application of Human Resources-related policies, procedures, and programs. The role requires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills to manage HR processes and employee relations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and interpretation of company policies, procedures, and practices related to employee relations
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide consultative HR services
  • Coordinate with vendor organizations to resolve escalated issues
  • Prepare and process HR employment transactions in collaboration with supervisors and HR teams
  • Manage workers’ compensation and disability case coordination, supporting return-to-work efforts
  • Administer local alcohol and drug testing programs
  • Identify and recommend updates to HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Develop and deliver HR-related communications, presentations, and training
  • Support recruitment efforts including networking, sourcing, and participating in interviews
  • Stay current on HR regulations, trends, and best practices
  • Plan and coordinate employee events and activities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with at least 3 years of progressively responsible HR experience.
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to perform basic statistical and analytical calculations (ratios, percentages, etc.)
