Our National Client is looking for an IT Training Specialist to join the team! This role is 80% travel traveling to the organization facilities to help with training on one of their new platforms.
Overview
Our client is launching a nationwide initiative to modernize its technology platform across a large, distributed operations network. This enterprise rollout will introduce an AI-enabled platform across all operating locations, improving real-time visibility, event management, and operational performance. To support this effort, the client is seeking a Training & Implementation Specialist who will lead field-level training, adoption, and change management activities throughout the rollout. This individual will serve as a key liaison between corporate stakeholders, local operations teams, and the technology vendor during the implementation period.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging onsite and virtual training sessions to operational leadership and end users across U.S. locations.
- Train users on the technology platform, including how to:
- Log in and navigate the application/online portal
- Access and retrieve live and recorded data
- Interpret AI-triggered event alerts
- Conduct and document coaching sessions with end users
- Retrieve and share recorded content for internal requests or investigations
- Partner with vendor trainers and internal leadership to ensure alignment on messaging, process, and training content.
- Create and maintain easy-to-use training materials, quick-reference guides, and FAQs for ongoing end-user support.
- Serve as a trusted onsite resource for local managers, helping teams gain confidence using the new technology and workflows.
- Reinforce consistent expectations, accountability, and adoption of the platform across all regions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering software or technology training programs in a distributed or field-based environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both frontline teams and leadership.
- Demonstrated success supporting process rollouts and change initiatives across multiple locations.
- Familiarity with AI-driven platforms, telematics-style tools, or event-based alerting systems preferred.
- High level of professionalism, adaptability, organization, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable traveling frequently (approximately 80%), with a mix of onsite visits and virtual follow-ups.
Travel & Work Details
- Travel will occur weekly but not five full days per week; typical schedule includes Monday–Wednesday site visits.
- In densely populated regions, multiple nearby locations may be covered per trip.
- Flights, hotels, and travel arrangements will be coordinated through the client’s corporate travel system.
- Travel time is paid as part of a standard 40-hour workweek.
- Occasional overtime may occur with prior approval.
