About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with a busy specialty medical clinic seeking a Patient Access Representative to support front desk operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinic environment and interacting with patients throughout the day.
Job Description:
The Patient Access Representative will manage daily front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance intake, and payment collection. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a high patient volume while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check patients in and out for appointments.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage clinic calendars.
- Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments.
- Update patient demographics and insurance information in the system.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist with patient inquiries.
- Review testing instructions and appointment details with patients.
- Assist patients with payment plans when applicable.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile payments.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
- Support clinic operations in a high-volume environment (approximately 40 patients per day).
Requirements:
- 2+ years of recent medical front desk or medical receptionist experience required.
- Experience scheduling appointments and managing patient intake.
- Knowledge of insurance verification and patient payment collection.
- Experience using EMR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment.
- Stable work history preferred.

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Work Model: Fully onsite
- Environment: Busy outpatient clinic
- Start Date: ASAP
