Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in DevSecOps practices and extensive experience in software development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a variety of programming languages, including .NET, Java, Python, and Go, and a deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and containerization technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, drive innovation, and contribute to the success of high-impact projects.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a software developer or engineer, with a focus on building secure and scalable solutions.
• Proficiency in software development languages such as .NET, Java, Python, and Go.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience working in a DevSecOps environment, with a strong emphasis on security throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with Source Code repositories and CI/CD pipeline solutions such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, and GitHub.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, Kubernetes (K8), and CI/CD Automation.
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Rancher, OpenShift, etc.
• Proven ability to work well in both team-based and individual settings.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site at client locations in downtown Washington, DC, at least 5 days per week.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable software solutions using a variety of programming languages and technologies.
• Implement DevSecOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design architecture, and ensure alignment with security standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) templates for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Configure and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and other container orchestration tools.
• Drive CI/CD automation initiatives to streamline software delivery and improve efficiency.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior team members.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our capabilities.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or challenges.
