Back-End Software Developer
Location: Nashville, TN
Salary: $135,000 - $150,000
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code without defects, follow industry best practices and coding standards.
- Integrate data storage solutions.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Collaborate on effective development practices and evangelize within and across teams.
- Ability to perform the assigned tasks with minimal to no supervision.
- Should be able to self-start and interact with the team members proactively.
- Should be passionate about software development and constantly pushing yourself to learn new technologies to develop better, faster, and more efficient applications.
- Should be able to do the design and development independently.
Qualifications
- Proficient in the latest version of C#, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, Code First approach, Web API, JSON, XML, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular2+, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Visual Studio, Source Control, TFS, RDBMS, no SQL.
- Proven proficiency in SOLID principles, design patterns, layered architecture, design, and building secure Open API V3 compliant RESTful Web APIs, cloud design patterns, specifically event-driven architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Azure
- Strong knowledge of .NET web framework
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Skill for writing reusable libraries.
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB
- Experience with popular web application frameworks
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
- Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
