Pay Rate: $26-31/Hour

 

Our client is seeking a Staff Assistant to support their Government Relations Team. 


Job Responsibilities:

·        Manage the Partner’s calendars, including reserving travel arrangements, scheduling phone calls and meetings, and assisting in the outline of priorities for each day.

·        Act as the point of contact for the Managing Partners among executives, employees, clients, and a variety of external partners that range from elected officials to CEOs to government relations professionals.

·        Attend meetings and calls as applicable to track action items, incorporate to-dos into the Partner’s schedules, and ensure required next steps are completed.

·        Design and implement updated organizational systems for the Managing Partner’s contacts, inboxes, calendars, and other relevant digital files.

·        Prepare briefings and other pre-meeting materials to ensure that the Managing Partners are well-prepared for all internal and external meetings and calls.


Requirements:

·         Experience in – 3-5 years of EA experience (heavy scheduling/calendaring, speaking with lobbyists, fundraisers, etc.)

o   Preferably experience in a political setting such as a campaign, Capitol Hill, or for a political committee.

·         Proficient in – Must have MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

·          Soft Skills – Adaptable, Strong communication skills, confident, able to prioritize, able to work in a fast-paced environment

·         Education – BA/BS preferred but not required (relevant experience can compensate)
